Monday — Police charged Thomas S. Smith, 40, of Butler with illegally boarding a Valley Bus Lines school bus Feb. 26 at Duffy Road and Var-Mar Drive. He is accused of yelling at and threatening the bus driver.Smith is charged with unauthorized school bus entry, a misdemeanor. He also was charged with two summary counts of disorderly conduct.6:17 p.m. Saturday — Chelsea Rimer, 25, and Shawn Kougher, 43, both of Lyndora were cited for harassment after an altercation at an Arbor Street home that left both women with minor injuries.2:44 p.m. Thursday — Shawn Forsythe, 27, of Slippery Rock was hurt when the vehicle he was driving ran a red light and struck another vehicle on Route 356 at Moraine Pointe Plaza.Forsythe was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for unknown injuries. He was cited for the red light violation. Jonathan Gavin, 30, of Butler was the other driver.

12:15 a.m. Monday — Robert A. Kozakovsky Jr., 21, of New Bethlehem was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car crashed down an embarkment on Curllsville Road in Toby Township. Kozakovsky, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered a minor injury.State Police, Franklin4:18 p.m. Friday — Ruth M. McCord, 82, of Emlenton was hurt when the sport utility vehicle she was driving rear-ended a pickup truck stopped for traffic on Cranberry Rockland Road just north of Hendershot Road in Cranberry Township, Venango County.McCord, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated at the scene for minor injuries. David L. Martz, 72, of Kennerdell, the other driver who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to UPMC Northwest in Seneca with minor injuries.

1:18 a.m. Monday — Robert D. Mack, 28, of Kittanning was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance at Fifth Avenue and 15th St. in Ford City.Police said Mack and his passenger, Jordan L. McKenzie-Kirkland, 28, of Kittanning, were found with suspected marijuana. Police said Mack and McKenzie-Kirkland were charged with possession of marijuana.8:24 p.m. Saturday — Donte J. Pegues, 21, of Farrell was arrested for drugged driving at Routes 422 and 28 in East Franklin Township. He was arraigned on charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, and placed in Mercer County Jail on $1,500 bail.Police also cited Pegues for speeding and careless driving. Justin A. Lenhart, 21, of Hermitage, Pegues' passenger, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a police report.

Feb. 27 — An unknown burglar stole a laundry basket, clothing and two pairs of tennis shoes from a home in the 100 block of Irishtown Road in Pine Township, Mercer County. The stolen property is valued at $1,410. The break-in happened between 2:44 and 3:33 p.m.

Sunday — An unknown thief stole a girl's wallet after she inadvertently left it at the Sheetz store in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.
