Tuesday — An unidentified vehicle struck a pickup truck parked at a home in the 200 block of North Washington Street. The unknown driver did not stop after hitting the driver's side taillight and door of the pickup. The hit-and-run happened between 2 and 2:55 p.m.Tuesday — A JVC radio with remote control and face plate, valued at $300, a Garmin global positioning system unit, valued at $125, along with two compact discs were stolen overnight from an unlocked sport utility vehicle in the driveway of a home in 100 block of Standard Avenue.Tuesday — A pair of binoculars worth about $50 were stolen overnight from an unlocked pickup at a home in the 100 block of West Patterson Avenue.

12:18 a.m. today — Joseph E. Kauer, 45, of Butler was hurt when the pickup truck he was driving crashed and rolled into a field along Dinnerbell Road just east of Azelea Lane in Jefferson Township.Kauer, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh with moderate injuries. Police said he was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

12:35 p.m. Sunday — A snow-covered road was blamed for a crash that left one person hurt in Manor Township.The accident happened when a sport utility vehicle driven by Hank A. Kromer, 22, of Manorville slid out of control on Route 66 and collided with a Peterbilt truck.Kromer, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to ACMH Hospital in East Franklin Township with minor injuries. Douglas R. Truax, 32, of Strattanville was driving the truck.The Manor Township Volunteer Fire Department and Ford City Ambulance assisted at the scene.4 a.m. Sunday — Two Clarion County teenagers were hurt when their pickup truck struck a tree along Madison Road just north of Route 584 in Madison Township, Armstrong County. The truck, driven by Brandon J. McElravy, 19, of Hawthorn, rolled onto its side.McElvary and his passenger, a 16-year-old New Bethlehem boy who police did not identify, both suffered minor injuries but were able to get out of the wreckage. They left and waited six hours before reporting the wreck.Police said McElravy was cited for a lane violation.

Tuesday — The state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement reported that The Chief restaurant and bar on Route 422 in Manor Township, Armstrong County, was cited for violating the state liquor law on Jan. 18 by selling or furnishing alcohol after permitted hours.An administrative law judge will hear the case.
