Connor Scott scored twice and the Butler hockey team held on for a 3-2 win over Fox Chapel Tuesday night at BladeRunners USA in Harmarville.

Scott’s two goals came on the powerplay to put the Golden Tornado (10-7) ahead 3-1 with nearly 13 minutes remaining. Fox Chapel added a goal three minutes later, but couldn’t find an equalizer.

Logan Rothbauer made 22 saves for Butler. Mack Walters added a goal for the Golden Tornado on an assist from Troy Double.

Postponement

The Union boys basketball team’s District 9 playoff game against DuBois Central Catholic was postponed to 7 p.m. today at DuBois Central Catholic.
