CANTON, Ohio — Timothy Graham, a 1987 Knoch High School graduate, in January was promoted to vice president of purchasing for the Timken's bearings and power transmission business.

Timken, headquartered in Canton, Ohio, engineers, manufactures and markets mechanical components and high-performance steel. It employs about 20,000 people in 30 countries.

Graham joined Timken in 2003 as director of international logistics. He earned a bachelor's in transportation and logistics management from Kent State University and a master's in business administration from the University of Memphis.

The offices of Northwest Savings Bank and Northwest Consumer Discount are collecting money and supplies through March 31 to benefit the Butler County Humane Society.Donations can be dropped off at the bank's offices in Butler, Cranberry Township, Sarver, Valencia and Zelienople, and at consumer discount's offices in Butler, Saxonburg and Zelienople.The humane society is in need of dog and cat food, leashes, blankets, office and cleaning supplies and more.For information, call the society at 724-789-1150.
