Robert David “Dave” Thorhauer, 64, of Karns City passed away at 1:30 p.m. Friday at his residence.

Dave was born June 5, 1949, in Grove City. He was the son of the late Robert Hugo Thorhauer and the late Margaret Florine Karnes Thorhauer. He had been employed as a roll builder at Castle Rubber.

Dave is survived by his daughter, Cindy Stobert of Butler; two sons, David (Joelle) Thorhauer of Petrolia and Greg (Shannon) Thorhauer of Karns City; 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. John (Donna) Lominski of Hilliards and Mrs. Denny (Kathy) Whitmore of Knox; several nieces, nephews; and his beloved pet, “Cleo.”

THORHAUER — Friends of Robert David “Dave” Thorhauer, who died Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, will be received at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert V. Mathias officiating.Burial will be in the Rosewood Cemetery.
