Knoch girls earn 2nd straight win

Maddy Bricker scored 11 points as Knoch hung on for a 40-39 win over Valley in high school girls basketball action Thursday night.

After an 0-9 start, the Knights have won two consecutive section games.

Savanna Steffen added nine points for Knoch (2-9, 2-3).

Stephanie McCall scored 21 points and Fontaine Glenn pitched in 19 for the Warriors (6-4).
