Lori Young

Lori B. Young, from Butler and a resident of Colorado, graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in recreation and outdoor education from Western State Colorado University in December.

She is employed at the Gunnison Recreation Center/Ski Resort in Colorado and plans to continue her work with the National Park Service this summer or travel to New Zealand. She also plans to study for her master’s degree in wilderness therapy and to hike the Pacific Crest Trail.

Young is a 2005 graduate of Butler High School. She is the daughter of Gwen and Jim Gannon of Butler and James V. Young of Renfrew.
