In loving memory of Mary Lou Jones who passed away five years ago today December 18, 2008

When links of life are broken,

And loved ones have to part,

It leaves a wound that never heals

And an ever aching heart.

When our family gets together,

There is one we do not see,

And it fills our hearts with sadness

Thinking of how it used to be.

We talk about the old days

And though we smile the same,

It still hurts deep inside us

When someone speaks your name.

For we all have memories

From which we’ll never part,

God has you in His keeping

And we have you in our hearts.
