BUTLER TWP — Hobnob Theatre Company will present “A Christmas Carol” at 8 p.m. Dec. 20 and 21 and 2 p.m. Dec. 22 at the Succop Theater at Butler County Community College.

GROVE CITY — A holiday handbell concert is planned for 7 p.m. Monday at Tower Presbyterian Church, 248 S. Broad St. The concert will feature handbell soloist Sue Garton, the Celebration Ringers, the Glenn Memorial Ringers, and the Rainbow Ringers. Admission is free.

SLIPPERY ROCK TWP, Lawrence County — McConnells Mill State Park will host “Hemlock Hikes” from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday as well as Dec. 14.Park in the Kildoo picnic area and meet at the gristmill. Dress for the weather, and take enough food and water. PITTSBURGH — Visitors who take a preserved snowball to the Carnegie Science Center on June 21, the summer solstice, can name their own general admission price.In addition, every person who brings a snowball to the center that day will be able to launch it in the Ohio River, weather permitting.
