Butler Police7:45 p.m. Thursday — Clayton Rennick, 32, of Butler was charged with possession and use of drug paraphernalia after he overdosed in his West Quarry Street home.Rennick’s sister, Shera Rennick, 35, of Butler, called police and reported that she believed her brother had overdosed on heroin.When police arrived at the home, EMS workers were treating Rennick.Rennick told police he shot three stamp bags of heroin that day. Police later found 11 syringes, four spoons with residue, and empty stamp bags under Rennick’s mattress.Rennick was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment.
State Police, Mercer8:49 p.m. Tuesday — A car rolled onto its roof on Interstate 79 in Springfield Township.Jillian O’Connor, 23, of Webster was driving too fast for the snowy conditions and lost control of her car, causing it to veered off the road and over an embankment, striking a ditch and rolling over.O’Connor and her passenger, Kimberly R. McConnery, 21, of Welland, were wearing their seat belts and were not injured.O’Connor was cited for speeding.
State Police, Kittanning2 p.m. Friday — Timothy M. Markilinski, 28, of Ford City was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance following a traffic stop on Route 28 in North Buffalo Township.
