Kylee Rankin of Karns City and Justin Smith of Petrolia were united in marriage Oct. 5 at Mater Dolorosa Church, Chicora. The Rev. Joseph Pudichery officiated. A reception followed at 10th Street Station.
The bride is the daughter of Gary and Tracy Rankin of Karns City. Parents of the bridegroom are Jeff and Carisa Smith of Petrolia.
The honor attendant was Haley Callihan of Karns City. Bridesmaids included Sarah Rankin of Karns City, Sydney Smith of Petrolia, Kendyll Smith of Petrolia, Brianna Markle of Karns City, Jessica Dietrich of Lyndora, Adrienne Olszak of East Brady and Ashton Pakutz of Chicora.
Sydnee Markle of Karns City was the junior bridesmaid and Brynn Rankin of Karns City was the miniature bride.
The flower girl was Jordyn Young of Highlands Ranch, Colo.
Performing the duties of best man was Andrew Harmon of East Brady. Ushers included Jason Rankin of Karns City, Josh Anderson of Karns City, Nathan Young of Highlands Ranch, Colo., Nathan Shirey of Petrolia, Evan Crawford of Kaylor, Grant Morrow of Fenelton and Aaron Markle of Karns City.
The ring bearer was Bodey Anderson of Karns City.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Karns City High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Slippery Rock University in 2012.
She is employed by Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Chicora.
The bridegroom graduated from Karns City High School in 2007 and, in 2013, he graduated from CCAC with a degree in electrical science.
He is employed by Hey Electric, Butler.
The couple is making their home in Chicora.
