Lowrie House slated to host tax deductions seminar
How to take tax deductions for personal care and assisted living expenses will be discussed Monday at a seminar hosted by Lowrie House, a senior living community.
The event, which begins at 6:30 p.m., will show what kinds of personal care expenses are permitted for tax deductible purposes, including insurances and other reimbursements, medical mileage, travel expenses and meals.
“Understanding the tax law for personal care and assisted living expenses is important to families that handle these yearly requirements,” said Penny Bacher of Bacher & Associates, who is sponsoring this event.
Lowrie House is at 100 Stirling Village Drive, off Evans City Road, in Butler Township. For reservations, contact Barb Yohe at 724-287-2171 or at byohe@alcco.com.
