Robert H. Bick, 90, of Mars died Wednesday morning at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.

Born on April 6, 1923, on the South Side of Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Harold N. and Helen M. Koenig Bick.

Robert had been a manager at Watson Standard, Duron and Sherwin Williams paint companies in the Pittsburgh area for many years.

He served as a master sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He was the husband of Sarah J. Erbes Bick, who he married on Jan. 13, 1997; the brother of the late Ruth Dudzinski; uncle of Joanne Foster of Butler and Darlene Swartz of North Huntingdon; the great-uncle of Scott Foster (Paula) of Mars, Jodie Fleishner (Jack), and Bobbie Nardulli, both of Butler, Tracy Reese (Brian) of Penn Hills and Kim Castro (Tony) of North Huntingdon; and many great-great-nieces and nephews.

BICK — The friends of Robert H. Bick, who died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. The services will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home, with Elder Gary Hoffstetter, officiating.
