BUTLER TWP — Tyler Copeland scored 21 points and grabbed seven rebounds, but the Butler County Community College men’s basketball team dropped a 92-69 decision to Mercyhurst Northeast Wednesday night.

Hunter French scored 15 points while Cody West added 14 points and six assists. Michael Rummel had five assists.

The Pioneer women suffered a 69-56 loss despite 15 points and 16 rebounds from Shelby Johnston. Ashley Brehm had 12 points, Jen Barry 11 points and five assists, Kyleigh Custer 11 points.

BC3 missed 17 of 37 free throws in the loss.
