9:47 p.m. Sunday — James J. Gautreau, 40, of Chicora was charged with DUI and driving with a DUI suspended license after police found him pulled over on the side of Route 8.A passing driver tipped police off to Gautreau's parked car near the Picklegate Crossing bridge.Gautreau was placed in Butler County Prison on an unrelated arrest warrant.7:55 p.m. Sunday — Jeremy Miller, 20, of Butler and Nathan Harbison, 22, of Manheim were charged with retail theft and conspiracy after they allegedly stole a television from Walmart at the Butler Commons.Miller allegedly distracted an employee while Harbison fled with the stolen device.Harbison was later found at the VA Butler Healthcare by VA police.
2 a.m. Nov. 9 — Jacob Crispen, 22, of Rimersburg was arrested for suspected DUI following an accident at Kittanning Pike and Fairmont Road in Fairview Township.Crispen allegedly failed to stop at the intersection and crashed into a ditch while attempting to make a right turn.Charges are pending a blood test.Nov. 1 — Justin N. Hite, 36, of Portersville reported someone stole about $500 worth of hunting clothing from his home along Perry Highway in Muddy Creek Township.
