He wasn’t much in the eyes of the world,

He’ll never make history,

No, he wasn’t much in the eyes of the world but he was the world to me.

Time can not stop the heartache,

Or even stop the tears,

Or take away the memories of the one I loved for years,

Some day I hope to meet him,

Some day I know not when.

To clasp his hand in a better land,

Never to part again.
