BUTLER TWP — The Butler County Community College Education Foundation has received a $20,000 gift from the Northwest Savings Bank to further support innovative educational initiatives.The gift, made through the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit, will assist students who want to earn college credits while in high school and provide economic education programs. The programs serve hundreds of Butler County students each year.In recent weeks, the foundation also has received a $15,000 gift from NexTier Bank and a $5,000 gift from the First National Bank of Pennsylvania for the same educational initiatives.
