The 15th-ranked Slippery Rock University women’s soccer team was ousted from the PSAC playoffs by Gannon, 1-0 Tuesday night at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium.

The Rock (13-3-2) managed just three shots and none on goal.

Goalkeeper Dana O’Neill took the loss after making three saves.

Amanda Gallant scored Gannon’s goal in the 29th minute of play.

Women’s VolleyballSRU’s Caroline Houston had seven kills and Seneca Valley product Sarah Beals tallied five kills in a 3-0 loss to host Edinboro.The Fighting Scots prevailed by scores of 25-23, 25-13 and 25-23.
