Winners of the 2013 Fire Prevention Week poster contest in Butler Township received trophies at the township commissioners' meeting Monday night at the municipal building. Entries from each of the three elementary schools in the township made posters based on the theme: “Kitchen Fire Safety.” The “traveling trophy” given to the school with the most entries was won by Meridian Elementary.
