County trio allegedly attack man at his home
MARION TWP — Three Butler County men are facing assault charges after allegedly attacking another man in August.
Donald B. Deal, 31, Jon A. Miller Sr., 37, both of Hilliards, and Jeremy A. Deal, 29, of Parker are charged with aggravated assault stemming from an Aug. 3 incident in Marion Township.
According to criminal complaints filed Monday against the men, the group attacked William C. Edwards at his West Sunbury Road home.
In the complaint, Edwards’ wife, Amber, told police the three men drove to their property in a SUV and approached Edwards, who was on the back patio.
She told police the men started yelling at her husband and eventually attacked him, punching and kicking him multiple times.
Medical records showed Edwards had a titanium plate implanted in his face as a result of the injuries from the assault, according to the complaint.
Amber Edwards was able to identify Donald Deal and Miller in photographs in August. She identified Jeremy Deal on Oct. 3, police said.
The three men are wanted on arrest warrants for these charges.
