Butler Police4:15 p.m. Wednesday — Mike A. Cumblidge, 40, no known address, allegedly assaulted his pregnant girlfriend, 29-year-old Heather Kuhrt, during a domestic dispute at her apartment in the 300 block of East Brady Street.Kuhrt told police that Cumblidge kneed her in the stomach and struck her in the ear and lip, according to court documents. She suffered minor injuries.The suspect was gone by the time officers got to the apartment. But later that night, Cumblidge turned himself in at the police station. He was arraigned on a charge of simple assault, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $2,500 bail.Tuesday — Police charged Chad M. Spahn, 23, of Boyers with misdemeanor drug possession after he was arrested last week on a bench warrant.Officers spotted Spahn about 3:10 p.m. Oct. 11 walking on West Wayne Street. They stopped him after learning he was wanted on a warrant. He was searched and found with a suspected Suboxone strip, two empty stamp bags of heroin, a syringe and two spoons.He is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.Tuesday — Todd E. Watt, 29, of Prospect is accused of shoplifting $78.25 worth of clothing and toiletry items from the Dollar General store in Pullman Square about 4:50 p.m. Oct. 10.Watt was searched and found with 16 empty stamp bags of heroin, two syringes and a marijuana pipe, according to court documents. He is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and retail theft.

Butler Twp. PoliceTuesday — Three people were cited after a series of altercations between tenants at Old Plank Estates. Those charged are Jessica E. Artana, 32; Britney P. Brown, 22; and Darryl R. Brown, 52.Artana, who was arrested and later released, is charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct and two counts of summary disorderly conduct, as well as harassment. Britney Brown is charged with summary disorderly conduct. Darryl Brown is charged with harassment.

Grove City PoliceWednesday — An unknown vandal between 4:30 and 7 p.m. smashed out the window of a vehicle at the middle school on East Main Street. Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to call police at 724-458-7925.Wednesday — Police reported they recovered a bicycle near State and Blaine streets. The owner can claim the bike at the police station, 337 E. Pine St.

State Police, ButlerTuesday — Police charged Joseph James Giammatteo Dingfelder, 19, of Concord Township with drunken driving stemming from a crash last month on Route 38 just north of Route 138 in Washington Township.Troopers were called to the wreck about 1:35 a.m. Sept. 26 and found Dingfelder and his sport utility vehicle stuck in mud off the road.Police suspect he lost control of the SUV while southbound on Route 38. The vehicle went off the road, traveled through a cornfield and ended in a marshy area.Dingfelder, who appeared intoxicated, admitted he had just left a party in the Eau Claire area and was headed home, court documents said. He acknowledge he had consumed beer and liquor.Results of toxicology tests showed his blood-alcohol level was 0.272 percent, or more than three times the state’s 0.08 percent limit, documents said.In addition to driving under the influence, Dingfelder is charged with minors prohibited from driving with any alcohol in their system, underage drinking, a lane violation, careless driving and trespass by vehicle.
