Comtra's 'Carnage' looks at parenthood
CRANBERRY TWP — The Comtra Theatre Players will be the first locally to present the award-winning play “God of Carnage” opening Friday and running through Oct. 12.
This internationally acclaimed comedy is about two pairs of parents, one whose child has hurt the other at a public park and who meet to discuss the matter in a civilized manner.
As the evening goes on, however, the parents become increasingly childish, resulting in the evening devolving into unmannered chaos.
The play is a bold and comical look at today’s society and the art of parenting.
The cast includes Mary Beth Seipp and Annette Quinn, both of Mars; Robert Hazen of New Castle, and Tom Smithyman of Wexford.
Show time is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $12.
Reservations can be made by calling 724-591-8727 or online at comtraplayers.com.
