Butler Twp PoliceTuesday — Joshua J. Wallis, 23, of Butler was charged with drunken driving stemming from a Sept. 1 traffic stop on Route 8 south. Officers pulled over Wallis for several traffic violations. Moments earlier, he reportedly was revving his engine and spinning tires in the Days Inn parking lot, court documents said.Wallis is charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, careless driving and three counts of not using turn signals.

State Police, ButlerGrove City Police8:33 a.m. Friday — Christin R. Wilson, 30, of Grove City was arrested on felony and other drug-related charges after police found him passed out behind the wheel of a car that was still running on Hill Street.Police said they initially began looking for the suspect’s car after they got a report of a reckless driver in the area of Hillcrest Avenue. A witness also reported seeing the car hit two other parked vehicles.Wilson is charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and driving under the influence of a controlled substance.Sept. 13 — An Apple iPad 4 was reported stolen from the General Electric plant on West Main Street. The device, valued at $474, was taken Sept. 12 or 13.State Police, MercerSept. 22 — A 2004 Dodge Durango was stolen from the Walmart parking lot in Pine Township. The sport utility vehicle later was recovered near Waynesburg in Greene County. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-662-6162.State Police, New CastleMonday — Police reported they are looking for the unknown driver in a hit-and-run accident Sept. 23 in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. The crash happened about 4:30 p.m. when a woman backed her Chevrolet Lumina from a handicapped parking space and hit an unoccupied vehicle at the Living Treasure parking lot on Fox Road just south of Route 422.The suspect apparently knew she hit the other car but failed to leave any information. She drove out of the parking lot and headed north on Fox Road.

Monday — Police charged Dane A. Fearon, 55, of Butler with drugged driving in connection with a 3:10 a.m. Sept. 13 traffic stop at Shore and West Diamond streets in Butler. Fearon, who appeared to be impaired and failed field sobriety tests, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test.

Toxicology results later showed the presence of benzoylecgonine, a metabolite of cocaine and morphine, in Fearon’s system, according to court documents.

Fearon is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, failing to stop at a red light and careless driving.

Sept. 23 — An unknown vandal damaged at least two mailboxes and posts in the 200 block of Simon Road in Summit Township. The vandalism happened between 6 p.m. Sept. 22 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 23.

4:14 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Justin M. McNally, 21, of Zelienople rear-ended a sport utility vehicle on Mars Evans Road at Watters Station Road in Forward Township. Police said McNally was cited for following too closely to another vehicle. Jack J. Scholl, 20, of Renfrew was driving the SUV.
