Tormented killer
Most of us are lamenting the recent deaths of 12 victims of the Navy Yard shootings. I also feel sorry for the needless death of Aaron Alexis, the troubled shooter, who was overlooked by our society for a number of years despite the many outward signs he left us.
We are too busy to care, in too much of a hury to have compassion, to even notice another’s pain.
Do we have to resort to our surveillance technology to recognize those in need of our help?
