Agronomic and vegetable growers are encouraged to attend pesticide update meetings scheduled 1 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 17 and 9 to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 19.

The sessions will be held at the Western Reserve Farm Cooperative facility, 3992 Route 208 just east of New Wilmington.

The meetings will address fall burndown and residual weed control programs; strategies for controlling herbicide resistant weeds with a focus on marestail; and new crop protection products.

Each session will qualify for 2 credits of core and 3 credits of category toward updating a restricted use pesticide license.
