Gloria Carolyn (Boyer) Dambaugh Farinelli
Gloria Carolyn (Boyer) Dambaugh Farinelli, 82, of Lancaster Township passed away Saturday while in the comfort of her home.
Born on Feb. 10, 1931, in Lancaster Township, Harmony, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Anna Mary (Hock) Boyer.
Gloria attended Bloomfield County School and was a graduate of Zelienople High School. She worked as an Avon representative and enjoyed selling its products for many years. She was an active member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Middle Lancaster, where she served on the church council for four years and was president of WELCA for eight years.
She was a lifelong member of the Harmony Moose 924, and acted as chairman, chaplain, junior regent, senior regent, college regent and also participated in the Academy of Friendship.
During her free time, Gloria enjoyed traveling, playing bingo and being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her three children, Evelyn R. Stephens and her husband, Alvin, Ernest Dambaugh and his wife, Jennie, and Shirley (Dambaugh) Fichter; her seven grandchildren, Timothy and his wife, Krissy, Stephen, Lawrence and his wife, Maria, Carolyn, Brian and his wife, Maggie, Kyle, Kaylee and her husband, Thomas; and her four great-grandchildren, Zachary, Autumn, Jovani and Gunner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 14 years, Lawrence Tony Farinelli; her son, Dale Farinelli; and her daughter-in-law, Linnea Farinelli.
Farinelli — The family of Gloria Carolyn (Boyer) Dambaugh Farinelli, who passed away Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of a funeral ceremony at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Zion Lutheran Church, 557 Perry Highway, Harmony, with the Rev. Barbara Love, officiating.
