State Police, ButlerThursday — Shane P. Allison, 40, of Butler reported someone broke into his home on South Benbrook Road in Center Township and stole three handguns.The break-in happened between Monday and Thursday.Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 724-284-8100.11:41 a.m. Thursday — Diane J. Caruso, 52, of Mars crashed her car on Interstate 79.Caruso’s car drove off the road and onto a grassy median about half a mile south of West Park Road in Worth Township.Caruso was taken to the Grove City Medical Center with minor neck pain.She was wearing a seat belt.Caruso was charged with driving too fast for conditions.1:30 p.m. Tuesday — An accident occurred on Glade Mill Road just past the intersection with Sandy Hill Road in Clinton Township.Ethan J. White, 23, of Sarver, was following a car driven by Deborah A. Schwab, 59, of Pittsburgh. When Schwab slowed down, White’s car struck the right rear bumper of her car, causing her to swerve off the road and go through a fence into a soy bean field.White was charged with following too closely.

Grove City Police3:06 p.m. Thursday — Justin V. McBride, 23, of Grove City was cited for driving at an unsafe speed after hitting a utility pole on South Center Street near Sunset Avenue.McBride was not injured but the vehicle was totaled.
