The Butler Public Library, 218 N. McKean St., received the Butler City Council Neighborhood Pride Award for the month of August.

Butler City Council chooses one business and one resident each month to receive the award. Recipients are chosen based on the work they have done to beautify their property.

Lori Hinderliter, Butler Public Library Executive Director, accepted the award at the Aug. 22 Butler City Council meeting.
