Kimberly 'Kim' Baptie
Kimberly “Kim” Baptie, 53, of West Liberty Borough, Slippery Rock Township, passed away at 4:20 a.m. Wednesday at her home.
She was born on July 8, 1960, in Pittsburgh to Thomas Guard Davis and Dorothy Louise Thonsen Davis.
She married “Lou” Galen Paul Baptie on Nov. 20, 1992.
Kim graduated from Bethel Park High School in 1978. She was a medical secretary and had worked for Century Medical in Pittsburgh.
She was a member of the West Liberty United Methodist Church. She was content doing things with her family and working with her flowers.
Survivors include her husband, “Lou;” son, Tyler P.; daughter, Nikki N. Baptie, all at home in Slippery Rock; her parents, Thomas and Dorothy Davis of Bethel Park, Pa.; two brothers, Thomas C. Davis of Souderton, Pa., and Kenneth Davis of Bethel Park, Pa.; two aunts, Betty Lauffer and Charlene and her husband, Paul, Metzler; niece, Brooke Gill; four nephews, Austin, Michael, Jason and Mark Davis, and cousins, Debby, Donna and Doug and their families.
BAPTIE — The family of Kimberly “Kim” Baptie, who passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013, will receive friends at the West Liberty United Methodist Church from 11 a.m. until time of service at noon Saturday, Aug. 17.
A memorial service will be observed at noon Saturday, Aug. 17, with the Rev. Loren McQueen, pastor of the West Liberty United Methodist Church, presiding.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Slippery Rock.
