Vivian E. Cramer
Vivian E. Cramer, 73, of Butler, formerly of Karns City, passed away Monday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice surrounded by her family.
She was born June 7, 1940, in Kaylor, Pa., the daughter of Merle and Ruth (Kamerer) Bly.
Vivian was born and raised in Kaylor, and spent most of her life in Karns City before moving to Butler in her elder years. She attended East Brady High School and was a former member of the Chicora Moose Lodge 962 and the Hilltop Beagle Club Ladies Auxiliary.
Vivian was a homemaker, an accomplished cook who could make a meal to warm any heart, and a self-taught gardener who enjoying canning in her younger years. Her passion was bingo, playing whenever she could. Special times were had at Pymatuning in Jamestown, Pa., during the many camping trips that she and her dear companion John Stiehler shared over their 25 years together before his passing in 2004.
She will be deeply missed by her sons, Randy Gombos of Saint Albans, W.Va., and Leonard “Scott” Cramer and his wife, Tracy, of Butler; daughters, Bobbi Nuccetelli of Wilmerding, Pa., and Susan Leech and her husband, Ed, of Butler; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Roland Bly and his wife, Joan, of Karns City, Bill Bly and his wife, Nancy, of Louisiana and Lenny Bly and his wife, Rita, of Chicora; sister, Carol Suzba and her husband, John, of Nevada; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents; companion, John Stiehler; daughter, Cheryl Smith; and sister, Darla McBride.
CRAMER — Relatives and friends of Vivian E. Cramer, who passed away Monday, July 29, 2013, may visit from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home, 102 S. Argyle St., Petrolia.Funeral services will take place immediately following visitation at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Pastor Dan George officiating.
