Butler Police7:13 p.m. Thursday — Ronald Rearick, 42, of Butler reported someone scratched his car while he was delivering a pizza to Monarch Place on Brugh Avenue. He left his car in a parking lot to deliver the pizza and found a long scratch on the passenger side of his car when he returned to it. Estimated value of damage is $1,500.

State Police, New Castle6 a.m. August 10 — A car driven by Gary A. Shay III, 24, of Slippery Rock struck a tree along County Line Road in Scott Township. The impact disabled the car.

State Police, Mercer4:14 p.m. Monday — An accident occurred when a man was attempting to turn into his driveway on Carpenters Corner Road in Perry Township.Daniel Kaltenbaugh, 20, slowed down to turn into his driveway when a car driven by Jessica Emig, 31, of Wexford struck the rear of his pickup truck.Emig was charged with driving too close to traffic.
