CRANBERRY TWP — Old computers of any kind and monitors and printers will be collected for recycling from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 14.

Microwaves, fax machines, digital cameras, chargers and adapters also will be accepted, but no TVs or appliances with refrigerants will be accepted.

The free collection will take place at the township’s public works building, 20729 Route 19, behind the Park Fire Station and next to the Community Park entrance.

Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania will destroy all data on hard drives according to U.S. Department of Defense standards for free.

Goodwill employs people to refurbish and to salvage donated computers for resale.
