Martha E. Pocza, 91, of the Trinity Oaks Care Center died Tuesday at the VNA Hospice Center in Butler.

Born Oct. 1, 1921, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late John and Martha Kovesci Bokor.

She was married for more than 51 years to Louis Pocza, who passed away June 14, 1999.

Martha was a member of the St. Peter's Reformed Church in Zelienople. Active in the community, she was a member of the Ellwood City AARP, the Keenagers of Portersville, the Hungarian Women's Club, the Golden Agers and Charlie's Angels Dance Group.

Mrs. Pocza graduated from Lincoln High School. She was formerly employed in the Superintendents Dining Room at the National Tube Co. She was also employed by the Matthews Conveyer Co. in Ellwood City during World War II.

Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie Pocza Hart of Laguna Niguel, Calif., and Nancy Murphy of Zelienople; a sister, Goldie Black of Morrow Bay, Calif.; three grandchildren, Timothy, Andrew and Loraine Murphy; one great-grandchild, Eligh Murphy, and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, George Bokor Sr. and John Bokor Jr.

Pocza — Visiting hours for Martha E. Pocza, who died Tuesday, July 9, 2013, will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave., Ellwood City. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Friday with her pastor, the Rev. James R. Bertoti, officiating.
