Michelle Makepeace of Butler was elected to the board of directors for the Women’s Business Network (WBN) to serve a two-year term.

Makepeace is the marketing director for Allegheny Imaging of McCandless and North Pittsburgh Vein and Vascular Institute. She previously worked for the West Penn Allegheny Health System.

Makepeace has been an active member of the Wexford chapter of WBN.

The Sewickley home of Bradley Shaffer, formerly of Butler, and his wife, Leanne Ford Shaffer, is featured in the September/October issue of Country Living magazine.

The Shaffers’ company, ACRE Goods and Services, provides interior design and branding for homes and businesses. The article showcases their remodeled home, which was built in 1907 as a schoolhouse and has been a residence since the 1960s.
