William James Ellis, 80, of Ladybug Lane, Jackson Township, passed away on Saturday.

Born May 19, 1933, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Leonard and Helen (Halkovich) Ellis.

Bill was a retired vice president and claims manager for Erie Insurance.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jane (Schweinberg) Ellis; his sons, Brett Ellis and his wife, Susette, of Jackson Township and Quinn Ellis and his wife, Laura, of Portersville, and his grandson, Jake Ellis.
