The Thursdays in the Park concert series in the Rotary Amphitheater at Community Park in Cranberry Township is free. Mahajibee Blues performs at 7 p.m. today. Take a blanket or lawn chair. Playing at 7 p.m. Aug. 15 will be the Christian Beck Band.

Musicians' Concert Band will present “TMG Big Band” at 7:30 p.m. today at Butler Intermediate High School. Admission is $5. Visit www.musiciansconcertband.com.

A free family summer concert series, hosted by the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department, features the four-piece acoustic band, Muddy Creek, with music from the '70s at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Carousel Shelter at Alameda Park.

Music at the Pyrotechnics Guild InternationalConvention at Cooper's Lake Campground, Worth Township, includes on Sunday: Amanda Noah, at 4 p.m., The Grifters at 5 p.m. and Street Level at 6 p.m.; on Tuesday: Noble Hops at 4 p.m., Tom Pappas at 5 p.m., and Kid Icarus Band at 6 p.m.; on Wednesday, The May Hollow Remedy Band at 4 p.m., Tom Panei at 5 p.m., and Sydney Hutchko at 6 p.m.; and Aug. 16, Zach Manuel at 4 p.m., The Gravel Road Band at 5:15 p.m., and Mind's I at 6:30 p.m. Gates open at 4 p.m. so spectators can enjoy live music and vendors before the fireworks show. Butler County Symphony Orchestra has free “Concerts to Munch By” from noon to 12:45 p.m. Wednesdays at the symphony office, 259 S. Main St. Performing Wednesday will be Stephanie Franzen and Sean Huegel.

Lunchtime concerts take place at noon Fridays at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center gazebo, behind the schoolhouse, 2525 Rochester Road. Playing Friday will be George Suhon with classic oldies.

Hartwood Acres Amphitheater in Allison Park, Allegheny County, hosts music by Galactic at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free.
