Judith Ann 'Judy' Johns
Judith Ann “Judy” Johns, 66, of Harmony passed away Monday surrounded by family while under the care of the Evergreen Nursing Center.
Born Oct. 3, 1946, in Harmony, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Helene (Hamilton) Lutz.
Judy found pleasure in crafting and previously owned a craft shop in Harmony. She truly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Judy was an avid gardener who enjoyed cooking, going on picnics and planning family gatherings for the holidays. Above all, she was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 47 years, James W. Johns Sr.; her sons, James Johns Jr. and his wife, Buffy, of Valencia, Gregory Johns and his wife, Stacy, of Zelienople, William Johns and his wife, Beth, of Cranberry Township, Erik Johns and his wife, Melinda, of Portersville and Michael Johns and his wife, Kristen, of Sewickley; her brothers, Paul Lutz and his wife, Suzanne, and Jeff Lutz and his wife, Ellen, of Ellwood City; her grandchildren, James Johns III, Paul Johns, Tyler Johns, Megan Johns, Lindsey Johns, Haili Johns, Kaitlin Johns, Joshua Johns, Nicholas Johns, and her step-grandson, Christopher Friedman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Butch Lutz.
JOHNS — The family of Judith Ann “Judy” Johns, who passed away Monday, June 10, 2013, will welcome friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.Additional visitation will be at 10 a.m. until the time of a funeral ceremony at noon Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Julia Williamson, officiating.
