EAST BUTLER — Tim Butler went 4-for-5 with a double and four RBI as No. 3 seed Butler City toppled No. 2 seed East Butler 10-4 in Legion playoff action Thursday night.

Josh Friel added two doubles and Spencer Murray a pair of singles in the victory.

Alex Ziegler picked up the win, striking out six in four innings of work.

Butler City will play Center Township in the winner’s bracket final Saturday.

East Butler will play either Slippery Rock or Saxonburg in a loser’s bracket game, also on Saturday.
