8:57 p.m. Wednesday — Patrick W. Magee, 34, was arrested after allegedly punching 43-year-old Tracy R. Ehrman during a domestic dispute at their West North Street home. Ehrman suffered a bloody nose and swelling on the side of her head. Magee was placed in the Butler County Prison to await arraignment on a charge of simple assault.

Wednesday — A stolen car was recovered in the state of Indiana, more than 400 miles from where it was taken last week at the Days Inn on Route 8 south of Butler. Police said a thief on July 5 stole the 2006 Chrysler 300, owned by a Maryland man, that was parked at the motel. Surveillance video showed an unidentified man taking the car, which was found Wednesday in Lawrence, Ind.Wednesday — Two parked cars were sideswiped by an unknown vehicle along the 800 block of East Jefferson Street early Wednesday morning. The suspect vehicle is believed to be silver in color and should have substantial damage to the passenger side.

Tuesday — Police reported they charged an 11-year-old girl after she sent photographs of her exposed breasts to other children. The girl is charged in juvenile court with disseminating sexually explicit images.

Wednesday — Police reported that 16-year-old Damon Michael Zeilger ran away from home on Hilliard Road In Washington Township. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.Wednesday — An unidentified vehicle struck the passenger side front door and front fender of an unoccupied car on the side of Broadway Avenue just east of 11th Street in East Butler. The unknown driver of the vehicle did not stop after the crash.

Sunday — Harvest Park in Pinegrove Township was vandalized between 8:30 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday. A damage estimate was not immediately available. The Venus Harvest Home Association owns the field. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 814-676-6596.
