At the recent Butler A.M. Rotary Club annual dinner, Jim Thompson received the club’s Rotarian of the Year Award.
For the annual “Changing of the Guard,” Jim Ferguson, assistant district governor, installed Thompson as president, Dena Martinez as president-elect, Mike Johnson as first vice-president, Peggy Weckerly as treasurer and Betty Fitzgerald as secretary. Also installed were board members Johnson and Bryan Stevenson.
The Butler A.M. Rotary Club raised more than $39,000 this past year through charitable efforts in support of the Butler community and Rotary projects worldwide.
