BC3 foundation gets new members

BUTLER TWP — The Butler County Community College Education Foundation Board has two new members.

Nancy Hunter Mycka, executive vice president of human resources of The Hunter Family of Companies, and Kelly Giles, vice president of Future POS, were each elected to a 3-year term.

The board manages private funds to aid BC3.

Mycka oversees human resources and organizational development for 750 employees for the family business where she has worked for more than 20 years.

In 2004, Mycka received the Butler County Junior Distinguished Service Award for volunteerism.

Mycka is a past president of the Butler HR Association and the Butler Junior Women's Club and also served on the Butler Health System Foundation Board.

Giles, a co-owner of Future POS, a point-of-sale software company in Butler, manages trade shows and dealer conferences, marketing and public relations.

Her company was awarded the Gold Vendor of Excellence Award by the Retail Solutions Providers Association in 2012, and it has received various awards from other industry associations.

Giles previously worked in pharmaceutical sales for Aventis/Sanofi, Dermik Division in Pittsburgh.Giles serves as the co-chairman for the Lifesteps Star Gala event. Giles also is the recipient of the 2011 National Association of Professional Women's “VIP Woman of the Year” award.
