FRANKLIN TWP — The 158th Big Butler Fair will kick off June 28 and run through July 6.

Special events each day include:

June 28• Annual Bike Night, ride your motorcycle into the grandstand through the West Gate and your admission to the fairgrounds is free.• The Clarks, indie band, with special guest Donora, 7 p.m.

June 29• Harness Racing, 9 a.m.• Antique Tractor Pull, 1 p.m.• Big Rigs Pulling Series and Semi Truck Pull, 7 p.m.• Swing Your Partner Square Dancing, 8 p.m. in the 4-H Barn

June 30• School Bus Demolition Derby, 7 p.m.

July 1 • Giant Auto Demolition Day, 7 p.m.

July 2 • Truck Night

July 3• Rusted Root, indie band, with special guest The Truth, 8 p.m.

July 4• Freestyle Motocross Motorcycle Show, 8 p.m.• Fourth of July Fireworks Display by Shivley Fireworks, starts at dusk

July 5 • Smoker series Tractors and Pro-Stock Tractor Pulls, 7 p.m.

July 6 • Miniature Horse Pulls, 11 a.m.; Freedom Bike Fest, 6 p.m.• Freedom Fest, featuring country singer Aaron Tippin along with Weston Burt, 6 p.m.

Costs• General admission is $6 before 4 p.m. and $8 after 4 p.m. Children younger than 2 are admitted free. Gate admission does not include carnival rides. A single day ride-all-day pass is $20.
