Knights Templar of Pennsylvania, Lorraine Commandery 87 of Butler, recently hosted an award ceremony for Shane Conner of Chicora.

He received the Illustrious Knight of the Triangle Award, which is given to Knights who distinguish themselves by a high level of involvement in their commandery and community.

Nicholas Vaccarello of Prospect and Very Eminent Deputy Grand Commander of Knights Templar of Pennsylvania presented the award.

Richard Geyer of West Sunbury is commander of Lorraine Commandery, which has more than 90 members involved in the Butler community.
