Luke Matthew Scrivanich
Luke Matthew Scrivanich, 21, of Huntington Beach, Calif., passed away unexpectedly in Huntington Beach, April 23.
He was born in Massachusetts on July 25, 1991, and was a son of Luke and Becky (Dimmick) Scrivanich.
Luke graduated from Cardinal Newman High School in 2010, and was a member of St. Rose Parish. He was a student at Sunrise Aviation in Santa Ana, Calif. and had nearly completed his private pilot certification. He was also attending classes at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, Calif.
He loved spending time with his siblings, teaching them to snowboard, skimboard or play paddle ball on the beach. Luke had a zest for life, a wonderful laugh and a big heart. Since his family moved from Sewickley, Pa., to Santa Rosa, Calif. in 2008, he now has dear friends coast to coast. We will always remember him for his zany sense of humor, his boundless energy, his unwavering loyalty and his compassion for others.
He is survived by his parents; sisters, Lena and Marigrace; brothers, Nicholas and Eric Scrivanich, all of Santa Rosa, Calif.; grandfather, Louis Scrivanich; grandmother, Mary Dimmick; uncles, Mark and Paul Scrivanich and Henry Dimmick; and an aunt, Amy Shamansky.
SCRIVANICH — A Catholic funeral Mass for Luke Matthew Scrivanich, who passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013, has been celebrated at St. Rose Catholic Church in Santa Rosa, Calif. Interment was at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Santa Rosa, Calif.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Daniels Chapel of the Roses Funeral Home, Santa Rosa, Calif.Memorials may be made to Hanna Boys Center, P.O.
