Sarah Pierotti

Kellie Marie Hill of Freeport received the Juris Doctor Degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law. She received her undergraduate degree from Duquesne University.

Abhijit Dutt of Cranberry Township received a Doctor of Philosophy from the Lubar School of Business at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Matthew Celestin of Silver Spring, Md., formerly of Butler, graduated with a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Howard University School of Law.

While at Howard, he was a senior articles editor for the Howard Law Journal, an intern for the District Court of the District of Columbia and the Office of Management and Budget, and participated in the summer law program in South Africa.

He has accepted a position with the law firm of Wilmer, Cutler, Pickering, Hale and Dorr in Washington, D.C.

Celestin is a 2006 graduate of Butler High School and a 2010 graduate of Indiana (Pa.) University.

He is the son of Cody and Mary Lou Celestin of Butler.

———Elizabeth Celestin of Miami, Fla., formerly of Butler, graduated summa cum laude from Miami Dade College with a bachelor's in nursing.She is employed at Mercy Hospital in Coconut Grove, Fla. She plans to further her education.Celestin is a 2001 graduate of Butler High School and is the daughter of Cody and Mary Lou Celestin of Butler.———Sarah Pierotti of Butler graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science with honors. She majored in psychology and minored in sociology.While at the university, Pierotti designed an honors thesis project on early social development and served as an officer of Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology.In August, Pierotti will begin a doctoral program in human development and family studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she has been awarded an Adeline M. Hoffman Fellowship and a Marion K. and Vernon W. Piper Distinguished Doctoral Fellowship.Pierotti is a 2009 graduate of Butler High School and the daughter of the Rev. Thomas and Lynn Pierotti of Butler.

———Jaimie Daum of Butler graduated from Westminster College with a Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude.Daum had a 3.98 GPA, was on dean's list all four years and had a President's Scholarship all four years. She received the Penn Ohio American Chemical Society Award, the Freeman Award, the Analytical Chemistry Award and the CRC Award.She has been accepted to the Radio Chemistry Department doctoral program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.Daum is a 2009 graduate of Butler High School and the daughter of Warren and Darby Daum of Butler.———Jenny Hartzell received a Master of Science in nursing administration with a concentration in nursing education from Waynesburg University. She graduated with a 4.0 GPA.Hartzell is a 1990 graduate of Knoch High School and received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Indiana (Pa.) University in 1994. She has been employed at VA Pittsburgh Healthcare in Oakland for 19 years as a staff nurse.She lives in Jefferson Township with her husband, Jeff, and their children, Katie and Adam. She is the daughter of Bob and Donna Shipe of Saxonburg.

—–——Samuel Clarke of Cranberry Township graduated from Lycoming College cum laude with a bachelor's degree in archaeology.Matthew Schneider of Butler, son of Gary and Sharon Schneider of Butler, graduated summa cum laude from Thiel College with a bachelor of arts in neuroscience and a bachelor of arts in psychology with a minor in philosophy.He received a Dean's Key, was on the dean's list for eight semesters and received department honors in neuroscience and department honors in psychology.Schneider is a member of Alpha Chi, a national collegiate scholarship society; Les Lauriers Senior Honor Society; Alpha Psi Omega, the national theater honorary society; Psi Chi, the national psychology honor society; Order of Omega, a national Greek honor society; and Lambda Sigma, the national sophomore honor society.He received the Thiel Academic Departmental Award, Dr. and Mrs. Arthur William Phillips Scholarship, Theil Leadership Award, Knute E.
