School van rear-ended
MIDDLESEX TWP — No injuries were reported Wednesday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash involving a school van, authorities said.
The van, owned by A.J. Myers and Son bus service, was stopped on Overbrook Drive near Route 228 about 3:45 p.m. when a truck struck the back of a car that was behind the van.
The rear-end collision apparently forced the car into the van that was carrying six students from St. Luke’s Lutheran school in Saxonburg, authorities said.
Paramedics were called and checked out the students before they continued on their way home.
The names of the drivers were not immediately known.
