BANTAM JEEP FESTIVAL
Butler County residents can again look forward to the annual Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival, which will be in Butler and at the Coopers Lake campground this year.
The festival will run June 14 to 16 as Jeep enthusiasts worldwide converge here to celebrate the birthplace of the famous vehicle.
The event includes a huge car cruise in Butler, road rallies and trail rides. It also will feature a World War II encampment, a flea market and a Father’s Day breakfast brunch.
The three-day festival will include a how-to clinic for sprucing up your Jeep and speakers who will talk about the history of the Jeep.
There will be a barbecue dinner that Saturday night.
Event organizers are expecting a bigger crowd this year, which is the third consecutive year of the festival.
Last year, more than 1,400 Jeeps came to the county for the celebration as people from more than 25 states and three countries attended.
