6:24 p.m. Wednesday —Nicole T. Finucan, 28, of Butler was charged with possession of a controlled substance after police discovered a bag of suspected heroin in a pocket while picking her up on a warrant from the Butler County Sheriff's office.3:12 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Janet K. Humenik, 54, of Prospect struck a parked SUV owned by Tracy L. Schrecengost of Saxonburg near the intersection of Fourth and Brady streets. Humenik was cited for careless driving.

2:43 a.m. Sunday — Alyssa J. Johnston, 18, no address given, was arrested under suspicion of DUI, minors prohibited from operating vehicles with alcohol in system, underage drinking and a traffic violation.2:30 p.m. May 1 — Someone stole a laptop computer belonging to Jacob Ziegler of Zelienople from the student union building at Grove City College.
