Iva M. Isovitsch, 89, of Butler passed away Friday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

She was born in Butler on Aug. 3, 1923, and was the daughter of the late John A. and Virginia Evans Bowser.

She was a homemaker, and she was a member of the Tanglewood Senior Center. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casinos.

She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Isovitsch of Butler, and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Isovitsch, who passed away Feb. 16, 1990; a daughter, Saundra Kay Isovitsch, who passed away Feb. 7, 1941; and two sisters, Cecil Sprietz and Harriet Fleischer.
