10:36 a.m. Wednesday — Tyler S. Trimbur, 22, of Butler suffered a minor injury when a gas tanker struck the car he was driving on Route 8 south. The collision spun the car about 180 degrees; it ended against an embankment.A Butler Ambulance Service crew treated Trimbur, who complained of back pain, at the scene. Police cited him for making an improper left turn and driving a vehicle without valid inspection. Barry Cooper, 50, of Pittsburgh was driving the tanker.Wednesday — An unknown vandal overnight threw a large brick through a window of a home in the 400 block of Bessemer Avenue. The owner was home at the time.

4:30 p.m. Tuesday — An unattended Grove City-owned vehicle accidentally drifted from its parking place at the borough's lot on Broad Street and hit another vehicle parked at College View Towers. The runaway borough vehicle continued to drift and struck the side of the apartment building.Tuesday — Several handbells and a carrying case valued at a combined $4,300 were stolen between 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday from the Harbison Chapel at Grove City College.

11:45 a.m. Thursday — Three women were hurt in a three-vehicle, chain-reaction wreck on Route 356, just west of Neupert Road in Jefferson Township. The crash happened when a car driven by Deborah E. Treich, 46, of Cabot rear-ended a pickup truck driven by Pamela S. Grannis, 51, of Monroeville, Allegheny County.The collision, in turn, forced the pickup into the back of a car driven by Marsha J. Acre, 51, of Butler. Grannis' truck at the time was stopped behind Acre's car, which had stopped to make a left turn in the driveway of a home.All three drivers, who were all wearing seat belts, were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor to moderate injuries. Police said Treich was cited for careless driving.10:28 p.m. Wednesday — Two young Cranberry Township men were injured in a suspected drunken driving crash on New Castle Road in Slippery Rock Township. The crash happened when their sport utility vehicle rolled three or four times.Police did not identify the men, ages 19 and 21, who were taken to Grove City Medical Center. Authorities described the teenager's injuries as moderate and the older man's injuries as minor.A police news release did not indicate which of the two men was the driver.9:50 a.m. Monday — Cody Rowland, 18, of Harrisville was caught with two airsoft guns and a paint ball gun in the back seat of his truck at Slippery Rock High School in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Rowland was cited for disorderly conduct.April 26 — An unknown identity thief used a 52-year-old Center Township man's personal information to purchase several items online between 12 a.m. April 25 and noon April 26.

1 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Matthew L. Fockler, 22, of Parker crashed into a utility pole along Route 208, just west of Old Ash Road in Springfield Township. Police said Fockler, who apparently fell asleep at the wheel, was cited for careless driving.
